Crystal Snowflake

Hello everyone!
Have always loved the look of white cards. Think they have such a rich clean look about them. Then add glitter and pearls or anything that adds sparkle, they suddenly come alive.
Started with a 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" white card stock, this would be the base. Next cut a piece 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and dry embossed a single line around the edge about a half an inch in. Then cut some glitter card stock an 1/8" wide and cut the corners at a 45 degree angle and glue them between the cut edge and the embossed line. Next I used one of the Grand Nestabilities - Grand Labels One out of shimmer paper. Next layer I used a die from Cheery Lynn - Hawaiian Luau Doily Frame. This die comes in a rectangle shape, was able to turn it into more of a square, took a little work but it can be done. Then added an embossed piece of card stock using the Cuttlebug Modern Wallpaper Embossing Folder, glued that to the back of the frame. Next I punched out a 1 1/2" circle to put the snowflake on, using Snowflake Die's from IO and covered with Martha Stewart Coarse Glitter. For a little more bling added pearls around the scalloped frame, a large pearl in the center in a silver setting and bows in each corner.

Happy New Year

Hello, I'm back with another card to share with you, and to play in some more challenges.

This is my first new digi stamp for 2013. Love digi stamps, they don't take up any space in my craft room. When I saw this digi stamp I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I remembered there was some old stickers stashed away that had to do with new years and would work perfect with this digi, so this gave me the chance to use them up.
